Peter R. Restani
Peter is a Board Certified trial lawyer with over 30 years jury trial experience. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar, and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a Fellow of The Litigation Counsel of America, and invitation only legal society. He has been a Martindale-Hubble AV rated lawyer for over 20 years. He is a member of various bar associations including the Defense Research Institute.
Peter has been a civil trial lawyer since 1986, and has extensive trial experience in state and federal courts. He has tried well over 150 jury trials to verdict, including wrongful death, personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability and insurance law. In the past 15 years he has completed over 50 jury trials to verdict involving serious injury, brain injury, wrongful death, amputation, etc., with over 25 defense verdicts (zero awarded).
Prior to civil practice, Peter served as an assistant state attorney in criminal practice as a prosecutor for the Miami-Dade State Attorney under Janet Reno, prosecuting all types of criminal offenses from misdemeanors to capital felonies.
Peter earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Boston College in 1979, and His Juris Doctor degree from University of Miami school of law in 1982. He has been a partner in various firms for over 20 years.
